The forest roads of Bandipur and Mudumalai

The Bandipur and Mudumalai forests are one of the best maintained forests in South India. They have a huge population of elephants and deers. The road across the forests is the one that passes through the border between the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. This road is laid across the thickness and density of the forest and hence it is a thrilling road to travel by and is also one that should be driven safely without causing any damage to wildlife as they are given the top priority there. The beauty of the forests can be seen throughout the stretches of the road. The silence in the roads can make us feel creepy, especially during night travel due to which these roads are closed after 9:00 p.m.
